We typically prepare and dispatch your PixelPortrait within 3 business days. Delivery usually takes around 10–12 business days depending on your location. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow it every step of the way.

Any clear photo can work, but the best results come from images with good lighting and a clear subject. Close-up portraits, pets, or photos with simple backgrounds usually translate beautifully into pixel art. If you're unsure, you can upload your photo into our pixeliser to see how it will look before ordering.

Yes! Our website includes a free built-in PixelPortrait Pixeliser that lets you convert your photo into pixel art instantly. You can experiment with different photos, preview the design, and only proceed with your order once you're happy with the result.

Every PixelPortrait kit includes everything you need to build your portrait: all the coloured studs (sorted by colour), a pegboard base, a colour-coded blueprint generated from your photo, and a hanging kit so you can display your finished portrait on the wall.

It depends on the level of detail you want and the wall space you have. The 48×48 is perfect as a first kit or gift. The 96×96 is our most popular option and produces stunning detail. The panoramic 48×144 works beautifully for landscapes or group photos.

Build time depends on the size you choose. Most people complete a 48×48 portrait in around 2–4 hours, while larger designs like the 96×96 can take several relaxing sessions. Many customers enjoy spreading the build across a few evenings.

Not at all. Each kit includes a colour-coded blueprint that shows exactly where every stud goes. You simply match the colour numbers on the guide with the stud bags and place them on the pegboard. Most people find the process relaxing and satisfying, similar to building a puzzle.

PixelPortrait is operated by a small team based in Singapore. Our custom pixelisation system and designs are created by us, while production is handled by specialised manufacturing partners in China who produce the precision stud components used in our kits.

Because every kit is custom-made from your photo, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. However, if your kit arrives damaged or there is an issue with your order, we will replace it free of charge. Please contact us within 14 days and our team will take care of it.

Absolutely. PixelPortrait kits make very personal gifts. Simply upload the photo when ordering and enter the recipient's address at checkout if you'd like it shipped directly to them.
